*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Scum OMT ***

Right I had few beers and have decided we are going to beat Arsenal tomorrow. Two fairly momentous losing streaks have been put to bed in and by Chicago this week and they have given me renewed hope. fudgeing gooners. Let's show a bit of courage on the pitch tomorrow and beat these pretenders. Wanyama to be man of the match and a brace for Kane assisted both times from Janssen. COYS.

(I'll regret posting this tomorrow no doubt)
Alcohol is the answer. And there is no regret in positivity, even of the beer-inspired kind.

COYS all of you beautiful GG'ers!!!

Despite the optimism here, I still fear the worst. Not sure I'll even watch the game, because I fear we'll lose quite badly. Things can change quickly in football, but it'll take a miracle for us to get anything from the game.

yeh, don;'t watch the game because all 3 results are possible, was it a "miracle" for boro to get a point at city ?

Man up

Are people really bashing walker??? Wow... Best right back in the league and comfortably our best attacking threat

Also I have seen Dier get abused yet we have had a great defensive record with him filling in letting in 2 goals so far so despite the complaints he hasn't let us down (and yes he isn't Toby- who is)

Yes they are mate.
Thankfully the manager picks the team.
I can only imagine the disaster with two left-footed CBs...

I get the feeling we will have a man sent off today, either Dier (22/1) or Wanyama (20/1)

No doubt we will play well as usual, they will score on their first real attack then one way traffic, 3-0 Arsenal today

i think the boys will be up for it.

Wish we go into this match against Arsenal in a much better form. Instead we are winless in 6 matches, lacking in goals and have just lost in Europe. But atleast we still have the best defensive record in the league. We don't have a good record away at Arsenal in recent times. But we did draw the last 2 times we have played away at Arsenal. A win will be great but will accept another draw against them.

Wish we can have all our best players fully fit for this match. We are going to badly miss Alderweireld and Lamela while there are still doubts about Kane and Dembele. We will need Kane to start as his return will boost our confidence regardless of his match fitness. Kane has 4 goals in 3 matches against Arsenal. Let's hope he can continue his goal run against them. Maybe we can use Janssen later in the match if need.

I think this match will be won or lost in midfield. We will need to win the midfield battle to get something from this match. The contributions of Wanyama and Dembele, if he is fit, going to be crucial for us. Dembele always seems to play well against Arsenal. So hope he will be fit to start. Eriksen, Alli and Son habe neen poor in recent matches. Let's hope they will get back their form against Arsenal.

Amazingly, despite our poor recent form, we still have the best defensive record in the league. But it is going to be difficult against Arsenal without Alderweireld who is still out injured. I will prefer us to start Wimmer with Vertonghen in defence. Dier is too error-prone and will be exploited by Arsenal. Hope Walker and Rose will avoid any silly errors as well. It will be great help to us if Lloris and the defence stops Arsenal scoring somehow.

London derbies against Arsenal are always about pride than form. We badly need a win after being winless in 6 matches. But considering our current form and injury problems, a draw will be a great result for us.

Wise words Spurs 7891. Agree that a draw would be a great result for us. Its easy to forget that, despite how cr@p we've been this year, we're still 5th in the league, very much in touch with those above us and also can still get through in the CL, assuming we buck our ideas up. Hopefully we can get Kane, Alderweireld and dembele back for after the international break and rediscover our form from last year

Having been there at Wembley, with many of the rest of you, and having seen such an inept performance, I really can't bring myself to be excited about today's game. I have a bad feeling about the game, and I'm not even sure if I'm going to want to watch it on tv. I know that's not the right attitude to be having, but with all recent form, I just can't help it.

I think we're bound to lose our unbeaten run against that lot. And that our defence will suddenly get exposed for the porous defence that it can be, recreating the horrors of the Saudi Sportswashing Machine fixture last season.

I really hope that I'm wrong.

Like a few, fearing the worst. Not going down the pub to watch and only have BT Sport on my phone, so might not even watch it.

Then again, I reckon if we were on the best form of our lives we would get tonked 5-2, so I'm going for a 3-2 win.

COYS!

If Dembele and Kane are able to start I might allow myself to dream but with our best three (Kane, Toby and Dembele) players out, I fail to see how we can match them.
