To be honest if this was Ferguson's team you know he'd take Bale off. He's offered absolutely fudge all.


Harry doesn't have the balls to do it. In the long run it would be the right move though.

on the replay it showed he had literally just finished lining up the wall, shifted to his left only momentarily before the ball was struck, so he had to come back the other way so he wasn't properly set and his momentum was against him.

At the moment it is too easy for QPR too mark Defoe out of the game. We need to give their CBs more to think about. I don't mind 4-5-1 if we have wide men bombing on. Or 4-4-2 against supposedly weaker teams like QPR -but I'm not really sure what we are playing at the moment.

Doesn't mean I can't express my frustration at the coaching staff in measured terms, does it? They're not the ones we need to rely on now. The players are.
 
We'll dominate possession in the second half without creating any real chances. Defoe will score an equaliser from outside the box in the last ten and Arry will tell us that it could be a valuable point. Within the next couple of days the OS site will run an article that will include the words "stick together"
 
Just before half time there was a shot of Walker laughing and joking with Adel. Made my blood boil! I really do not think the players are too bothered.

When Bale/Modric/VDV receives the ball in the final 3rd they look up and see every body standing beside them static, including Defoe. When one drops deep the others need to make runs, pull defenders away. Everybody thinks they're fudging Xavi.

it's a really easy, default, catch-all phrase when it's not working.

of course they're trying. too hard probably, if they just played their usual game and stuck to their (Bale's esp.) positions it stands a better chance of clicking.

they're trying to force it because we're searching for form.

If nobody on the coaching staff can't spot what 90% of this board can-and that is that Bale needs to stay left-they deserve to be fired.
 
When will Harry get his head out of his arse and revert to the formation which brought us success in the first half of the season? Midfield 4 of Lennon, MOdric, Parker and Bale. Its simple

PLaying Modric, Parker and Sandro means that you have limited goal or attacking threat from midfield
