The defence is completely rattled. What is going with Friedel and the bcak passes? Benny is a mess too and too make matters worse is just jogging around. Bale invisible, Defoe, not getting any service. So far we have Parker and VDV putting in a shift and that is all! Look, we do not deserve Champions League football at the moment. We are just not good enough and our form reflects it.

i almost think Bale is trying too hard to affect the game - he doesn't get service so comes inside when he could just bide his time.

the number of times BAE gets the ball high up on the left but doesn't have the ability to beat a man or cross it like Bale is annoying - if Bale held his position it would be him with those opportunities.

get Lennon on, go 4-4-1-1 and get back to basics.

we can do this.

So much for leaders. We have King, Gallas, Parker and VdV on the pitch.

Is it to do with our sparks Modric and Bale not performing?

Tbh mate we could be 0-4 down and you'd still spin it to make it seem like it's a positive.

As for the game what can you say?

1) Defoe up top by himself is disgusting to watch (pretty much why i thought Ade was the most important player in our squad)
2) Ekotto isn't having a good game
3) Sandro and Parker have been good
4) Bale is doing what he wants again. Drifting wherever he wants, not caring much about anything else.
5) The cb's have looked pretty meh.
6) Walker has been pretty bad too tbh.
7) Friedel has also been bad.

Bale is doing what he was told to do.
If Redknapp wanted width he would have started Bale and Lennon.
Instead he's started VDV and Bale.
He wants them to cut in, that's the 'plan'.

I got IDEA!

Take off Sandro and VDV and out on Lennon and Giovani

RM: Lennon
CM: Modric
CM: Parker
LM: Bale

CF: Giovani Dos Santos
ST: Defoe

Bale, I dont feel this way often, but I'm right there with you.

Bring on Gio. Nobodys playing like they want it. QPRs going all out. We're doomed.

Would like to see Lennon and Giovani on for width,
let Bale take BAE's place. Sandro or Parker out.
Pace and width!

One thing Moonlit is right about is Lennon coming on for BAE. Swith Bale to LBN so he can actually stay out wide and put Luka LM. Sandro does not deserve to be taken off.

I've spotted Adebayor. He was in an ad for Power Horse during the half-time interval.

Your unbelievable, walker is the ONLY player that's given us any width

Sent from my Nexus S using Fapatalk

Please, just scroll a few pages back and see the people's reaction to his cross where he was totaly alone and hit the leg of the first men next to him.I dont call that providing width tbh

You said earlier we had to stick with it and show our support... then you post that above!

I'd take Bale and Modric off. They are not trying. Put on anyone. Seriously though Lennon on. Try something Harry you dope.

When Bale/Modric/VDV receives the ball in the final 3rd they look up and see every body standing beside them static, including Defoe. When one drops deep the others need to make runs, pull defenders away. Everybody thinks they're fudging Xavi.

Ive been fairly critical of our most recent performances. The sad thing is i think this is one of our better performances recently. Its not saying much because we have been far from brilliant. Defensively we have looked shakey we have however created a couple of half decent chances and i'm not sure we deserve to be behind. I believe (and its strange to make an optimistic statement) if we can get the next goal momentum will swing in our favour and we will go on to win. Given our lack of cutting edge that is of course a big if.

I'd like to see a change of shape. I really have had enough of Bale playing centrally i really do not think it works. Get him on the wing doing what he does best, get Lennon on the right and attack them. They are there to be got at.
