*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace***OMT ***

How many footballers are able to run through other players?

To run full-stop would be nice. 2 strikers required, Soldado and Ade sold ASAP.

Our problem really is we just don't have good enough players outside the good first XI that has emerged, bar left-back and in goal. A couple of youngsters back from loan will help, as will some signings.

Perhaps this game is vital in that it doesn't cover over the cracks that we are all too aware exist with the squad. Hopefully, Levy will sanction some business in the transfer window and help us to strengthen for the remainder of the season.

Good point. There has been plenty of crack papering over this season. We got what we deserved today. It hurts, but its fair. We can have no complaints.

Just typical tottemham. Beat Chelsea and lose to Palace! Haha why do I always get my hopes up.

**** off tottenham. Thanks for ruining my night.

I know that I must be one of those of whom you speak but I just lose my head when watching a game on TV. Maybe I shouldn't post in the OMT when watching. I get frustrated by us taking only a solitary point this season from a team who, before kick off today, were in the relegation zone. I agree with your point too, it's just that I'm too hot headed when watching at home.

Apologies mate, certainly not aimed at anyone in particular...I get frustrated as we all do, and has often been said, we all express differently! COYS!

**** ref **** **** ref

I thought Foy was **** but that is the biggest **** ref I have seen

How can you get that **** wrong you are five ****ty yards away

Sigh. Like I said, it was a game that was absolutely waiting for us to slip up ,and we did. We are going to miss Bentaleb very, very badly: ditto Mason. Stambouli's penalty concession aside (forgivable mistake) he was rash when he did go into challenges and painfully exposed defensively during most of the other periods of the game. We looked slower in possession and slow to close down, and in a game like this, that was asking to be beaten.

We could have gone top four today. Not that it's a target, but it would have been nice to be there for a bit. Ah, well. Priority has to be getting in some decent cover/competition for Mason/Bentaleb, and a striker who can take some of the burden off Kane. Capoue is not good enough to be near the side in the absence of Bentaleb: Stambouli might be, but he's got a lot of flaws. Capoue, Dembele - are these the players Poch wants in those positions? Dunno, but I don't think the answer would be in the positive.

Not enough guile in attack, our defense and midfield let us down. Hugo made great saves, even got stamped on.

We have to be more solid defensively, we know we can grab a goal or two with Kane on form recently.

Fekin ****. Bring on the avatar. And I hereby declare the end of OMTs for me for the rest of my life. Sorry guys.

I think Palace shaded it and deserved the victory for their second half guts after going a goal down

If Kane got injured I'd dread to wonder where a goal is going to come from.

Capoue was terrible when he came on.
Dembele was weak when we needed him to stand up and fight.

Absolutely sick of ****ing melts going on and on and on about Chelski result and this result when the central midfield was 100% different in both personnel and style. Yes, Dembele came on in that game, but Bentaleb and later Paulinho were there to help keep things fluid.

But Poch is well aware of the situation. He's trying to get a proper 25 man squad, and he's trying to shift the deadweight strollers. One of those came on today and I personally hope he never, ever plays for us again.

That ref was disgraceful though. Never a pen and clear, clear trip on Kane in the box ignored. Numerous free kicks given for what?

Onwards and upwards. COYS!

Worst ref all season.
Any luck we've had negated thrice.

Ha ha. Your positivity is completely unwarranted here. We didn't lose through luck we thoroughly deserved to lose. No question. Too many players well below par. Same story against lower ranked teams. We don't create nearly enough . Their keeper never had a thing to do all game. Lloris by contrast had a few key saves to make. Poch has trouble raising us up for these type of games. We seriously need to recruit in at least three key places IMO. Some players simply not good enough.
