Surely, we have to win all our remaining 4 matches to have any hope of finishing in top 4. We cannot afford to drop any more points as long as our rivals keep winning. With this being a home match, we have no choice but to go all out to beat Southampton. We don't seemed to have a good record against them in recent years. Hope Bale will inspire us against his former team. There is no reason whatsover why we cannot win this match.

Without a doubt, all the attention will be on Bale again. After winning the triple PFA and FWA awards, everyone will be looking at him to perform to his level best again. It is really difficult to perform when all the media attention is on the player but Bale has done that almost perfectly so far this season. Hope he will be at his best again. This will be the perfect moment for Bale to score his 20th league goal against his former team. But I think he should try to score more than 1 goal, even a hattrick, as he is more than capable of doing that. Would prefer Defoe to start in attack after the way he came on to impress against ManCity. He was poor against Wigan but playing at home might bring out his best again. Just don't like Adebayor starting as he has been uninspring for long time now. Hope Dempsey can score again as well.

Our midfield need to play a key role in this match. Would prefer Hudd to start but can see AVB starting with Parker and Dembele, if he is fit. Want to see Dembele playing more aggresively than he has done previously. He needs to help our attacks more. Wish Dembele can score goals as well. It is really disappointing he has only scored 1 league goal all season. Hope Lennon is fit for this match. We can really make use of his defence-splitting runs and dribbling skills. Want to see Sigurdsson start as well. I think he can be more effective against teams like Southampton than the likes of Holtby.

We should be expecting a clean sheet at home against teams like Southampton. But the way our defence have been leaking goals this season, not sure if we can keep a clean sheet nowadays. Don't want to put too much hope on our defence but it will be great if we can stop conceding goals for once ! Not really convinced of Lloris so far but hope he can command the defence more aggresively. I think he needs to shout at the defenders to keep them alert all the time. Nice to see Vertonghen being named in the PL Team Of The Year. Hope it will boost his confidence to be at his best in thia match. Hope the defence will avoid any silly errors as we cannot afford to make such mistaked up at this stage of the season.

This is a must win game to stay in the top 4 race. Hope we will turn up with the right mentality against Southampton. A positive result is more important that good performance in our remaining matches. So, hope we will get a comfortable win here.

Hope Lennon and Dembele will be fit to start. Feel a bit nervous for this match. We cannot afford to slip up in this match. Hope we will do just enough to beat Southampton.

I hope the players have a different mentality to most people on here. This is gonna be a tough game, Southampton arent a pushover. They have a superb away record, not conceding in their last 3 away games!
