The transfer thread

They are… I didn’t realise
They have become a big of an odd club in Italy now because they can’t bribe as much as they used too and have lost so much money
From a players perspective he will be seen doing it at the top level, hopefully giving him more options in the summer.

I see Twitter is in meltdown blaming levy of course

As someone said on here … if think it was also on the GG pod .. if it’s public it ain’t real
We haven’t leaked anything big and no one knew about Kinky or Odobert
I think it may have been @ricky2tricky4city

I haven't seen twitter to be fair.

What I've seen on here is a lot of people blowing a lot of smoke up Levy's arse and him being called the master negotiator again in January. It will be interesting how much more we hear of Levy's involvement as the month rolls on.

Personally, I'm already feeling a bit bad for Munn. I had expected that our new chief football officer was empowered and owned the P&L. I had assumed that he would be the one calling the shots on the terms and conditions of deals, and be the one sitting at the negotiation table. I had assumed Johan Lange worked for Munn.

Having observed Levy's running of football operations for 25 years, I can't say I'm not a little nervous that Levy is so tactically involved.

Normal meltdown over us not signing someone and fully blaming the club as if the player hasn't got a choice, on this transfer I'm not sure the club have done much wrong

I think you and I are on the same page when it comes to Levy, off the field fantastic, on it less so.

I am hoping Levy got involved with this transfer as he has a good relationship with the PSG owner, other wise nothing will change.

I don’t think levy is involved at all
It’s a football deal
He would be involved if things are agreed
We heard exactly that for Kinksky
If… if we wanted him, and I think he is a good player, we will still have limits on what we will offer
The fact that a lot of people claimed they knew bits form our side makes me think we weren’t in for him

I'm pretty relaxed about it

I'd rather us stick to our actual targets than just go for a short term fix in Jan and be stuck with them for years.
Im not sure we'll get a better RWF in the summer though. This was quite a unique opportunity. Or it will be a riskier signing, another Odobert. Like i said, Dibling would be my hope
