We didn’t sign Neto we signed Odebert who operates mainly on the left
We signed Yang who plays right and have Brennan and Kulu
On left we have son who is not anything than short term, Werner (snap), Moore (a kid) and Richy.. who we now treat as a CF
Odebert we will see

A shame but it did feel like it wasn't happening given the time involved. Our recent transfers have tended to be wrapped up very quickly and those that aren't haven't actually completed.

I did like the idea of Muani because I do think he's a good player and would have added some quality and versatility to our attack. Let's see who we do get in because the right hand side needs someone.

Yeah, wasn't so much thinking of one deal per se. I never expected Muani to be a Spurs player. The PL brand is bigger than Serie A, but Spurs brand isn't bigger than Juve's. When the Old Lady comes calling, players pay attention.

LOL - as for that PSG chairman, he owes us. He's sold us some right old duffers - Moura, Aurier, Stambouli etc. I'm sure he sold them all to Levy and let him think he was winning the negotiation. Like taking something from a baby. It's about time he sold us a decent player :)

I was very unsure as soon as it became a public thing
We haven’t done that kind of business
Even Solanke came out Thursday, signed next day

I was only referring to reports that Levy was in Prague on NYE closing the Kinsky deal. Perhaps just media BS.

I'm kinda glad we didn't get Muani. Feels like a very expensive player on huge wages that would expect to start most games... but doesn't have a truly elite skill set to warrant that. He does look "good" but if he was that good, why has nobody talked about him for years, other than his miss in the WC Final?

I know Spurs are scouting thousands of players at all times, and would rather we find a 23 year old star that is about to burst onto the world stage, already with 150 senior games, just like we found Kinski at Slavia.

Edit - if it was a true star like Osimhen or Gokyeres or whatever then absolutely yes, but I think we can still find gems somewhere in the world, for low fees and wages and keep the team spirit all together.

I think it's too early to make a call on Gokyeres, Portuguese football is not that strong and the 3 goals against a struggling City has helped to hype him up.

So we stick with what we have
Any deal we were rumoured to be looking at had a buy clause
We may or may not have stepped back and Juve don’t have that clause to deal with

I know we say DL has a good relationship with the PSG owner but didn't we shaft them on the Lo Celso deal?
