The transfer thread

Does it feel like the footballing world is waiting for Kvaratskhelia to move from Napoli to PSG? That makes Rashford and Muani pawns in this same chess game.

Rashford has been linked with Napoli. Munai has been linked with Utd. That's then a complete chain.

However, that is not Spurs or Juve's agenda.

Munai to us and Werner to Napoli is a similiar triangular chain. It screws over United then too, leaving them with high wages stinking the place out chap.

That and both PSG and Muani wanting to see what the best deals they can get are. Potentially a fairly big money deal (if a loan with obligation for example), big wages included too.

Problem is, a loan to buy moves the sale of Muani into the 25/26 season accounts, whereas the Kvaratskhelia purchase would be in the 24/25 accounts. So I guess it is about what that does in the 2 lots of 3 year rolling calculations for PSR.

I think Liverpool have been trying to hijack the Kvaratskhelia deal. Concerns that Muani is perhaps waiting for Pool to switch their attention to him. Perhaps we'll start hearing Mbuemo's name added to the list of Kvaratskhelia, Rashford and Muani as well.

PSR isn’t an issue for psg
They just pay the fine

Yep when city did
In France they just make up numbers

Our country has no moral high ground over France though. The PL threw their broadcasting money and weight around years ago to take all the decision rights away from The FA and now find themselves unable to punish Leicester. Now we have Chelsea selling assets between their different companies and able to spend three-quarters of a billion on players with no course of action. They even sold their women's team to themselves. That's not even mentioning City.

Now today we read that all 20 PL clubs are compliant. I'd be really angry if I were Everton.

I’m not saying we do
But PSG can make it up in France as they like
They are such a dominant force
Over here you have much more “focus” on clubs money
They do that in France but mainly against owners of clubs who are tapping up the French government for example

Well in this country, I would now advocate for government intervention on the football decision rights issue for our national sport. Our government should make sure the money and the people sit within The FA. Same as refereeing. The PL should not be a governance body and have no rights in this area in my opinion. The PL shouldn't even be able to talk to UEFA / FIFA etc. Not their job.

For all the wrongs of the past with the FA, we need it to be an effective governance function in football.

Anyway, rant over. Have we signed Muani yet?
