Those who know about football in France seem to think that you've bought a bit of a mixed bag. Some very promising / already good. Others overrated. Something of a scattergun approach, hoping to get a few good'uns.

I suspect that Sissoko is one of those whose ability they believe is still in question. Might work out for you. Might not.

I have never seen or heard about this guy but he has been out on loan a lot and my gut feeling is he could be another GDS.

I hope I am right but Rodgers seems to be getting it more right than wrong so far.
 
Is this not the time we should be backing the chairman / manager? We are all saying why are we not in for this person or that person but whats to say AVB just does not rate these players and is after people who will come in and put in a shift? He has drilled his mentality into the team and it has taken a while, so maybe he wants player that are already in that mold rather than these highly rated, unproven players?

LFC have just signed Coutinho.
Say what you like, but their movements in the transfer market show that they recognise their weaknesses and are prepared to spend some money trying to address.
