Yeah they get a medal, I remember that little dude blubbing in Barcelona when he won with the Searle brothers, Herbert or something.

If a cox gets his/her bit wrong, and has them go too fast or slow, they lose, so I reckon he/she deserves a medal.
 
As a humble non oarsman, on the face of it it looks easy. You appear to think it is not, so i presumed you would be able to give me an insight into what was required and potentially change my view. Hence the 'head ag wall' question.

Do/are they lightweight, shout encouragement, and pace the crew? I just think that is not much, compared to virtually all the other olympians you mentioned that are going for the same thing, Gold.

The cox mainly does the steering, although not really necessary on a straight course. The stroke usually determines the pace, although the cox will have input and has the advantage of seeing what's going one in front.
 
Big day so far, 2 golds and a silver. Immense shooting.

Still got judo and cycling later too.

Ogogo did the world no 1 as well
 
All the naysayers can fudge off..........the media do my tits in, we've been saying all along that the medals were due in the last 10 days.
