Oh yes indeed. Start her up, drive her out there, carefully position the vehicle with one side on the goal line, the other somewhere around the penalty spot, break out the Turtle Wax, give the mirrors and hubs a nice polish, take the keys out of the ignition for Health & Safety and tell the driver to go have a cup of tea for two hours. Then, at the end, all jump on board and get the bus back to the garage and all fixed up for Spain.

Most similar style Premier League team would be Sunderland under O'Neill.
They play with 2 dms that do nothing going forward and rely on Duff and McGeady on the wings.
Expect a lot of long balls to Doyle and Keane trying to get on to knockdowns.
Doyle and Keane will be working their arses off closing down and probably wont last the 90 minutes.

I just saw the Spain team sheet - do they not play with a fudgein striker?

Silva is not a striker nor is Fibreglas.

i think Torres will come on and score - the guy will be top scorer this competition.

Rossi - it seems they are playin like that eh. Its ridiculous and the three up front aint even that good in the air (dominant I mean) so theyre just gonna have to play it through an Italy team that im sure will set up to defend.
 
How would you feel if you were Negredo, Llorente or Torres, and have essentially been told that your manager would rather play no strikers than play you.

He was getting back into form (maybe not his best but some sort of form) at the latter stages of the season. Tournament football is different and I appreciate and acknowledge that but maybe this is the type of football he needs.

okay, just to get an idea of where you're coming from i just need to clarify a few things...

did you just say that playing for bayern and germany means your world class?

plus how many times have you seen Gomez play a full 90 mins in total?

cause recently i've seen the real madrid games , the chelsea match and the game against portugal...how do you think he played in those ? (if you saw any)

if you dont mind telling me what Gomez is world class at? cause i'd be very interested to know how you assess / rate a player

also if you dont mind telling me, what's he better at than defoe and better at in comparison with Ade?

if you want you can ask me anything you want and i'll do my best to clarify why i dont rate this guy.
