My scores app is saying the xg is 0.8 for Brighton and 0.9 for Liverpool, I’m at a loss to know how they’ve worked that out to be honest?
Because none of them have really produced anything very likely to be a goal. All low probability shots. My scores app is saying the xg is 0.8 for Brighton and 0.9 for Liverpool, I’m at a loss to know how they’ve worked that out to be honest?

It's not a tap in. It went under the GK, who will save it quite a few times. It was xG 0.71. His other goal was 0.07But goals count in it right? They had a tap in from two yards.
I was more querying the Pool xg of 0.9, I can’t really remember a good opportunity for them and certainly no better than Brighton have had in the game? But anyway, don’t want to get hung up on it, just think it’s one of those outliers where on this occasion you can’t really trust this particular stat to tell the true story of the game.Because none of them have really produced anything very likely to be a goal. Massive decision that totally changed the game in United's favourJust seen the Rashford not-offside. How on earth can he not be interfering with play when he's millimetres away from striking the ball?
Since when do you have to touch the ball to be interfering with play?

If things stay as they are now, that's Everton and West Ham into the bottom three, and along with SCBC, all on 15 points.
They changed the rule
But I’d still argue his run is stopping city from being able to get to the ball
