The Official 2022/23 Premier League Thread

They still have to play us, City x 2 and United, it's far from over yet
Yep and all those teams also have to play each other. They are all going to drop points
They also went out the Carabou cup early and avoided one round in the Europa League ko stage as well.
They can probably afford to lose/ draw them all and still get over the line.
Let's see what happens tomorrow, after today's result , a draw wouldn't be a disaster for them.

I don't know the wording of the offside rule as they seemingly change it on a weekly basis, but any sensible football fan (that of course excludes Manure supporters) can see that Rashford was interfering with play there. It's unbelievable, really.

As long as Rashford keeps chasing the ball, City defenders have to keep chasing him, which creates more space for Fernandes to run into. It also meant Ederson had to make his decisions on the basis of two Manure players approaching the box instead of one. It's not exactly rocket science to see that Rashford was very much interfering in the situation.

Had Rashford stopped his run 20 meters earlier, it would have been a different matter, of course. But he didn't. Hence offside.

Stop being so sensible.

If he makes an intent to get the ball
Which he did
He is offside
