The Official 2016/17 Premier League Thread

Great result for us. Was watching NBC's post match coverage and all the discussion was about how City blew their chance to give Chelsea a run for the title. No mention of Spurs, who would still have been closer even if City had won. To top it off, Robbie Earl said City are the 2nd best team in the Prem, even though they're 4 points behind us. You know what, I'm OK with that, but where was the same narrative last season when Leicester were absolute brick, yet lauded because they managed to clog their way to wins, even though we were the better team in the Prem?

That's the hair shirt we have to wear. If by some miracle we managed to win the league it might make the local newsround-up

Love it! Who gives a brick about the media and the pundits anyway? The less they say about us, the better. :)

My only disappointment is that City don't look capable of beating Chelsea. They will have to play so much better than that.

Did Palace?

I doubt chelsea will lose two in a row, but I could just about see a draw.

If we can gain 5 points in half a week on them that would be incredible progress.
