Mate, I dislike them as much as you, but give some credit when it's due. They defended brilliantly for the last 30 minutes, city pushed the whole time but couldn't do what they did to us.

Shame as City are probably the most likely way that Chelsea will be stopped from winning the league and just as likely they'll be beyond our reach come the end of the season. But always fun with an upset.

It makes me laugh - had we beat Man ****ty - this board would be euphoric, but because its the Spammers, all of a sudden we dismiss the win. I agree with you in that credit shoul dbe given to them and Sam who seems to have turned them around. Whilst I didnt watch the game from reading reports it seems Man ****ty dominated large chunks of the game but the Spammers defence stood strong - unlike ours which wilts almost instantly.
Its denial again, ooh it wont last etc etc etc. I remember a few seasons back when **** were winning with RVP and it was the same 'oh it wont last' or 'oh RVP will get injured' well ****in hell hmmmmmmmmm.

we wouldnt look **** if we had 9 men behind the ball.. look at the Arsenal game, we were LAUDED for our defensive performance but its not the Spurs way, we could have uite easily done this against City but instead we took the game to them. Unfortunately we didn't get a tired City team and we didn't manage to go ahead so we don't know if we'd have done the West Ham tactics, maybe if Mason had not missed a sitter we'd have found out.

Oh please! Where are west ham finishing then this Season? The reality check is being put on west ham the last couple of pages because someone suggested they'll finish above us. No-ones saying Spurs are gonna be top four or even top five just that west ham will do well to finish above us as that would mean a champs league push or even place!
What exactly are you laughing at? I find it laughable that after 9 games when they've only played Liverpool and city both at home, that they're suddenly champs league contenders or something! It's classic knee jerking after a few good early results. The same was said about Southampton on here last season at this stage as well.
