The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

So, according to one site, Manure have had 3 shots and scored 2 goals. They must be the jammiest team in the league, picking up one undeserved win after another.

They play complete and utter sh*t football, they win games purely on the quality of their individuals, oh and also De Gea has been awesome this season.

Gareth Barry sent off in 88th minute, Willian scores winner in 90th. This anti-Chelsea conspiracy never ends.

Classy from Jose & CFC as per usual, they really are cretinous pond life !!!

If Ivanovic gets a 3 match retrospective ban, I think he might miss the final

Good to see Martinez coming out and saying aobut what happened meaning the FA will have to look at it

But he won't do because 'the ref will have seen the incident' and no retrospective action can be taken.

Ref hasn't seen it though. Unless you're saying he won't get banned because he plays for Chelsea. Despite Costa getting a ban.

Ref was looking straight at it though...

Interesting precedent to set, grabbing opponents in a choke hold from behind is OK as long as it's done when the play is stopped. Or rather, it would have been an interesting precedent if the PL/refs cared at all about consistency in refereeing.

What I meant was that the ref will include it in a vague way in his report, something along the lines of his assistant saw something and mentioned it to him but he felt it didn't warrant further action and by that vague mumbling mean the FA can't look at it retrospectively.

Costa was different because the rules for the League Cup and the for the League are different. In the league if it is in the ref's report that is the end of the matter.

So what if the ref has seen it, 99% of refs are clueless anyhow, if the player has done something wrong he should be punished, stupid fudging rules

Agreed, the ref should be answering a few questions too.
