The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

o_O their fans maybe cruddy(?) but they deserve better than no goals in six games, no footy fan deserves that.

Goons (a) 0-5
Liverpool (h) 0-2
Leicester (a) 0-1
Palace (h) 0-0
Sunderland (h) 0-0
Swansea (a) 0-0

They should've long sacked Lambert.

and get in who ?? can't think of anybody even half decent out there currently

Villa, Everton and Saudi Sportswashing Machine are 3 big clubs with no ambitions. It will be good for us if they remain so. They can easily rival us for a top 4 place if they want to. Remember the times when Saudi Sportswashing Machine used to finish ahead of us at the start of the PL era ? Don't want any of them to get relegated as they will bounce back strongly.

Suprised by Koeman's comments today. Now maybe something is lost in the translation from interview to press, but he's said that they didn't expect to keep this level of performance up all season and he always expected to be caught by the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool. It may be an honest comment but you question the mindset, considering they have played some great stuff this year.

Disagree. Villa go down and that'll be it for them.

It's a difficult one but I do think they need a shake-up . Perhaps someone safe like Alan Curbishley or if Lerner is up for a riskier appointment maybe, Zola, Southgate , or Paul Clement.

I agree, its inevitable, they may survive another year or two, but they really look like they will fade out now.

Everton is the interesting one, if the Martinez experiment goes wrong, they don't have a lot of funds to course correct, could see them drop to mid table, lower mid table.

Sturridge (think it was him that pushed someone behind the ref's back) should be off, a few yellows spread out amongst the rest.

Ibe looked impressive as did Barkley when he came on, other than that I don't think there was much between those two after Rodgers took Coutinho off. Sterling didn't exploit the space as well as Coutinho did and Everton came right back into it. Naismith was lucky not to have broken his neck in the first half too.

All they would do is sell some of their players, Barkley etc would fetch a few mill.

city look a shambles without toure, they need to get Bony back from the African "waste of time " cup as well
