The "Official" 2013/14 Other teams matches thread

2nd home defeat in 4 days without scoring, going to be a long sad journey home for their fans back to Essex, Kent & London

Wow, what an absorbing game. Well done Saudi Sportswashing Machine. A gameplan executed to perfection. Wins over Chelsea, Spurs and Man United in recent games for them.

Man United...it's so strange. They do have some good players but there's not even spurts in a match when they look good. If you want turgid football - look here. I'm sure this isn't what Moyes wants but then again I don't know what exactly he is building towards.

they created many chances/looked like scoring?

I watched the last 25 minutes. They had one ball in the net, correctly disallowed, created from a free kick. Otherwise they rarely looked threatening, nowhere near the kind of pressure United under Ferguson would have piled on a team that was a goal up against them. Saudi Sportswashing Machine managed to keep hold of the ball reasonably well.

Very un-United-like.

So...

Pardiola? ;)

And some thought that our home form was in a negative spiral...

@OptaJoe: 2 - Manchester United have not lost two consecutive Premier League home games since May 2002. Shell-shocked.

@OptaJoe: 3 - Only Fulham and Sunderland (two each) have kept fewer clean sheets than Man Utd (three) in the Premier League this season. Fragile.

@Squawka: Man Utd have now lost as many Premier League matches this season (5) as they did in the whole of last season. It's not even Christmas.

@Squawka: It's been 4,231 days since Man Utd suffered back-to-back home defeats in the Premier League. (Arsenal 0-1 & Middlesbrough 0-1).
