Because he obviously is not yours I feel similar about poch and raffa.
I have not forgotten everyone telling me I was wrong about avb and I should back down well I did and he did not ;)

Well my choice is Rafa but if Poch was the overwhelming first choice then I wouldn't be annoyed in the slightest. I just feel that no one(or very few) here even know anything about FdB and are just picking the mystery box.

Yeah. He's the romantic/mystified choice, rather than the rational one.
 
For those that want Frank, 4 league titles in a row is a reasonable fact to base ones vote on I would say. Poch is only based on a hope that he can get Spurs playing like SCBC, but with the addition of turning in more of a points return (whatever people say now, finishing 8th isn't going to fly anymore).

For me its a bit like that and also a hunch.

Also FDB hasnt managed anyone in the premiership so he would feel like he is ours and ours alone. A bit like not dating your mates average ex so to speak.

I know lots about him and believe it or not I would stake money on you both being completely and utterly wrong.
have followed Ajax for roughly 15 years and have a general interest in Dutch football
Watch as much as I can and I really believe he is the real deal.

I understand what you are saying but its based on guessing and conjecture just so similar to the overbearing amount of he's going to be amazing stuff I read about avb last time around.
unless you believe that you have exstensive
knowledge of how the guy works and have watched he's teams play and understood what they are doing.
if that's the case then you're opinion is based on what you have seen and know and fair enough.
you tube and harry hotspur or whatever is not enough.
 
Forgot to add for me it's not about being right and winning a forum poll
its about what's best for tottenham hotspur football club.
I have many reasons to believe fdb will be what's best for tottenham and first and foremost he will be given time unlike if we poach another pl manager who will always have a element of the Southampton manager the scouser the chavs about him from day 1

see this is where ITK gets it wrong.

in all likelihood he was interviewed - so just say that. i think most people knew he would be interviewed (alongside other candidates) - now the board has a decision to make

I have no opinion on FdB so I don't know what I'm going to be totally and utterly wrong about. I just think people like him because he's the least familiar rather than having extensive knowledge about the guy. Most just see a name and run with it.
 
people will always prefer someone who has won stuff over someone who has not - it's the nature of the game. people don't think about how a manager will fit in to the club and it's aspirations. Benitez hasn't worked within our constraints before but we'd supposedly be a dead cert for top 4 qualification and a trophy or two by most peoples estimations should he take the job.


as for FdB - i think 4 titles on the spin at a club who hadn't won the league for 7 years is a good indicator of a mans abilities, it shows consistency at least. factor in that they sell their best players every summer and rebuild with lesser knowns then that's a positive in a circumstance he could have to face here as well.

i think there are as many people who simply look at the name and that he wins titles with a big club and say yes please as there are people who say no thanks because he's 'only' winning titles with Ajax
