Everyone but Judas.

If we invited him and he turned up what reception would he have got? The club and the fans would have been thrown under a bus by the media.

Why doesn't he man up and come out and say "I understand why spurs wont invite me, I wish them all the best".

Instead of his mouth piece sky Andrew making comments. Obviously there had been a discussion about it for comments to be made.

Seriously how classless and stupid are they?

It has to be purely for publicity. I can't imagine anyone truly thinks he has a chance of being invited.

I can honestly say, I'd rather the club invite any of our former players over that treacherous c**t. I'd prefer Andy Booth, Paul Konchesky and Paulo Tremezzani than him. In fact, I'd rather they invite Wenger, Wheelchair and Adams.

Andrew again, deliberately I assume, misses the point. It wasn't that Campbell left to better himself and further his career. We were all okay with that. It was the way he left and who he went to that will always be the problem and the biggest act of player treachery in the history of football.

May he f**k off and not be seen again.

Even Judas can't be that delusional that he'd think it a good idea for him to show up at The Lane (ever, let alone on its last day). The guy really does need help.

Would be almost worth seeing the reaction though, save us a few quid on the demolition.

This for me if it had not been for Sugar we would have ended up with the crook Maxwell, if that had happened i doubt very much we would have the club we have today. Never understand why some fans can not appreciate what he did.

Whatever he may have saved us from (that is second guessing the past), what we do know is

He took over a club that was in the mix for top spots (we regularly finished in top 4 in the10 years prior to his acquisition), at a time where the next 10 years allowed the top clubs to build an almost insurmountable advantage via the EPL era and CL money. Instead of cementing our place, we proceeded to finish outside of the top 10 regularly with a best of 7th in 10 years. It has actually take the club 25 years to get back to the same league position finish as the year prior to Sugar.

The only credit Sugar has truly earned is, he didn't burn the club to the ground and he sold it to ENIC/Levy.

Back on topic .. why the fudge do people complain about what the club sells? don't like it, don't buy it ..

As i said in my post i fail to understand why some fans will not accept that he saved us, what he did later was not the point i was making. You are of course entitled to your opinion but i can not see why you would have prefered Maxwell to have dragged us down, because that was our choice at the time.

I'd love it if they rolled out old Timmy Atouba, i'd be in stitches seeing that guy on the turf again!

Responsible for a fantastic away day moment up at Newcash. Shown onto his right foot, he proceeded to fire a 25 yard bender into the top right-hand corner from the left! Fantastic! Remember his penalty area step-overs? In OUR penalty area that is...

It's up there with the Cruyff turn, but the best step-overs were done by Kevin Scott as they were done in slow motion and you could see clearly from the stands as he prepared himself to do it.

Ah Kevin Scott...I remember a 1-0 loss at Coventry the day after Cobain died where he scored the own-ly goal and many of us genuinely started to fear relegation. Then came Sideways saving us at Oldham away...
