We will push for the title IMODespite the negative noise that tends to follow us about especially during transfer windows I think we have a huge amount to be optimistic about now.
We have a great Keeper, the back 4 is arguably the best in the league and we are adding depth. Any 2 from Sarr, Bentancur and Bissouma is arguably up there with the best CM pairings in the league, Madders is a throwback central AM and the best in class and we have Sonny, Deki, Johnson and throwing Werner in the mix.
Being overly optimistic we are some depth and an out and out striker (which unfortunately there is a lack of these days) away from pushing for the title IMO.
We will push for the title IMO
But getting it along with any other major trophies comes down to the fine margins that a world class goal scorer adds

We need more than just a striker. We depth at CB, LB, AM potentially CM and the wings still need to be sorted out.Yeh but in the summer when we likely only need a world class striker and our average spend per summer is now 150m we have the flexibility to do that. Despite what people generally think I don't think we have stumbled on this plan where we have been strategic by accident.
I reckon it will be high 80s at most this seasonI think it's possible to push for top four but we would need to get 30 points more than last season to win league based on last year.

Regarding CB depth. In summer Phillips returns and we'll see if he's integrated into the squad for contention next season. Dorrington is another that may be considered for depth next season. In over a year, Vuskovic joins up with us as well.
We might have seen Dorrington or Phillips this season if we had not so many experienced players out at the same time, midfield has been severely disrupted and that's the engine of the team.
Contracts expiring this summer: Perisic, Dier, Austin
Contracts expiring 2025: Hojbjerg, GLC, Son, Forster, Whiteman, Sessegnon, Davies, Rodon, Reguilon, Tanganga, Ndombele
At best that's 11 out, 3 to keep? lots of change still to come
100%! Difficult to anticipate this sort of injury crisis. The only place we’ve left ourselves light in numbers was CB (hence why we’re spending the big money there in Jan).I think the severity of our injuries have fried peoples expectations on squad depth too. We need depth of course, we are not having it to cover every crisis, thats just not possible, neither is it to the quality people seem to demand.
Apparently we are looking to sell Skipp in summer as it frees up some kind of helps the financial outlook for future signings (not sure how it works technically) but thats what the bloke I worked with at Spurs said

However with, hopefully, Europe next season we might need a few more bodies and/or upgrades in the summer still.
I would have agreed before the season started, but as it’s turned out he’s had no intention of playing Dier, so left with 3 cbs he’s willing to trust and one of those is a part time CB in Davies.Even at CB its been blown out IMO. Stylistically 100% but we had Dier and Davies on the bench, one of whom was a first choice CB last year.
