I think it's more like when we score, the opposition come out of their shell and we can't cope because we have no midfield.
Get a proper midfielder next to Rice and get some pace and width on the left. If it means binning Foden, so be it.

Would like Bellingham next to Rice, Foden or Palmer central behind Kane and either Bowen or Gordon on the left. We're so passive and sloppy with the passing. As for Trent he's there to provide killer passes to the wings or centrally and he's doing neither.

Yeah theres a collective blindness to a fairly obvious truth. At 30 years old and years and years of hard running, he just doesn't have that physicality any more. He has already adjusted his game, so England (and the fans) need to take that into account or play someone else.
