Yea saw him on the balcony, was a bit of a shock actually as I hadn’t heard he was even in an accident!

9 months later to still look like that? Like you say it must have been touch and go at one point you’d think?

Not sure about the Eng one day side, it’s obviously good but I don’t think they/we know the best team yet and there are 3 or 4 excellent Other teams so don’t make us favorites by any means.

Maybe things will become clearer in the next few weeks. Shoe horning Brook to open though almost feels like setting him up to fail.

Brook only opened because Bairstow and Roy were injured yesterday
Agree that they 100% don't know their best side though, for me it's the bowling that is very much the weak point

I wonder how good the bowling is. Topley and Wiley are OK, not sure they are great and they don't get much Cricket these days.

New job so couldn't sit and watch it in the office on my Ipad so was sneakily watching on my phone, what a knock !!
Love that - thought you was going to say the normal thing of 'new job so couldn't watch it'.

But instead it's new job so had to find a smaller screen to watch it on:D....

Im on a facebook group called County Cricket Matters, decent group with well informed people from around the county game. But my GHod do the older generation seem content with the game dying with them. I get that some changes are frustrating, like the hundred etc, but the seem adamant that the red ball county game is the be all and end all (I love it BTW) and that its not dying and there is no need to evolve. Its sad to see in some respects as I kinda get it, but equally these people don't realise the game would die with them if all cricket was run in a traditional way
