The Academy, NextGen, U18 & U21 Premier League and On-Loan Thread

Whose this Onomah character?!

Midfielder, just turned 16 if my memory serves me right, could still be 15 though.

Came on for us in the home game against Barca in the Next Gen. After one of the academy tournaments we played in abroad last season Inglethorpe described him as the youngest player in the tournament, but also the best. Has featured quite a bit in the U18 games, but also been on the pitch for the U21 games this season, although perhaps just as a sub.

Supposed to be one of the best talents in our academy at the moment.

Barca had the best of the first 20 minutes or so but Spurs then imposed themselves for the last 25 minutes of the half, playing some very good football indeed.

as i said. my friends brother is in the academy so ive seen him a few times and i can tell u now there are bigger talents than him in the younger age groups

Sounds promising :)

Would you agree that he's among the biggest talents in his age group (and those a couple of years older than him)?

He's been chosen to represent England U16's (and, for good measure, looked to be the most exciting player on the pitch in the recent Victory Shield game against Wales).

He's also been chosen to represent Spurs U18's in some huge games, alongside players who are up to three years older than him (a significant difference at that age). Even some U21 games too.

So, by definition, he must be considered to be one of the biggest talents in his age group.

oh definetly. from u16 up to u18/19 id say hes the best best. if u havent seen him before his main asset IMO is his footballing intelligence and making the right decisions at the right time, can also beat a player for fun. but the futures bright because i saw a couple of unreal talents in the year groups below him.

Shaquille Coulthirst scored the perfect hat-trick - left foot, right foot & header.

He's now joint top goalscorer in the NextGen series on 4 goals with Ajax's Fischer.

Haven't seen him apart from the first game against Barca, hopefully we'll go far in this tournament and we'll get some more televised games...
