Could be 30m with massive add-ons - highly probable when selling to a club which is on course to compete for 3-4 trophies each season - i.e. succesful

What if you are both wrong and it's 1 billion dollars ?

Clearly it's Euros. It's a Spanish source. IF they were talking about another currency they'd clearly say £38m or 38GBP.

Also, as far as I am aware Mordic isn't listed on eBay. Or on the classifieds on the OS. Who said anything about Levy demanding £40? The papers made up a price. Then they made up a price that Madric bid (or maybe they made that bid up too) and then made up a counter offer we went back with. I would imagine this will all go off at a lower price than the papers are talking about and it will still get reported at whatever the lazy journo makes up, probably something with a zero on the end for a good headline.

My salary is xx,087.93 per year. If I was ever (un)lucky enough to have the papers report it I'm sure they'd call it £XX,000 or maybe £XXX,000. Because that looks better as a headline and will sell more 30p rags.

Would not be that bad a purchase.

In a 4-2-3-1, if you could get Sandro making more of those runs upfield that he occasionally made last season it might do well.

It would rely heavily on VDV/Sig for creativity though, and it could struggle against teams that are parking the bus..
