I rate Sandro, i think he has enormous potential. I like his character, drive and his attitude. You say you haven't seen him breaking up play, but i've seen plenty of that. I've also seen him break intelligently frm midfield and have an impact further up the field.

He didn't play well in this game at all but i expect him to improve. I just wonder if he should have had a couple of weeks off after the olympics

I DIDNT SAY I HAVE SEEN NONE..I JUST QQUERY IF HE is the real deal?..top drawer? you taslkof potential k..that would indictae we are on the same page..but others sugest he is a "beast"....that seems a little partisan to me..and a bit ignorant of what elseis around in the league

Tiote is close, Mikkel is past it and yaya toure is one of the best in the position, so no, he is not better then yaya toure.

i like to have midfielders who can do a bit more...so he is better than tiote and mikkel is he??

I would rate him as about the same as tiote.



What else would you like him to do? Pick you up a pizza and bring it round?


He tackles, he intercepts, he passes, he runs with the ball.

Sandro is just turned 23 and has played a grand total of 53 games for us, he is still trying to adapt to the Prem lge but in my mind is doing well. Compere that to say Hudd who has played nearly 200 games and we still talk about his potential.

I just gave you about 16 games where Sandro has made an impression on the game and been very good whether its tackling or passing it quickly for the attack. Considering he's made 42 appearences for us (most off the bench), thats a very good return from him. Other games is more of a team performance being poor. I still think he was our best player against Saudi Sportswashing Machine this season and one of, if not our best against West Brom. He was also on his own in the middle today against Norwich and did his and Livermore's job for him and STILL got benched.

This is all obviously without mentioning his TWO monstrous performances against AC Milan in the Champions League. Two of the best performances i have ever seen from a Spurs player.

Sandro's like Mascherano. He's awesome against better teams but a bit pointless against brick ones.
