nato was set up to protect against the USSR aggression and should have been disbanded when the USSR broke up or at least reformed as the armed for forces of the EU to stay relevant.
iraq war was wrong - no punishments there which probably emboldened putin to attack crimea.
but i agree with you - macarons the lot of them
the biggest losers are fallen men and women in the war, then the taxpayers of the US, UK and Europe who fund it.
the biggest winner is the war industry who will benefit from the needed replenishment of ammo and weapons
And 2022 invasion of Ukraine proves they was right not to dispand.
And it was the USA that said if Ukraine got rid of it's nukes, then it would protect Ukraine in Russia invaded.
And here we are.
Russia is to blame for everything. It had no reason to go into Ukraine, just parnoid, lying taco waffles, stuck in a 1950's cold war.
I honestly couldn't give a shyte about the EU. They are useless and incompetent. I remember them fecking up in Bosnia and the UN being a complete waste of space, as civilians were slaughterd down Sniper Alley, with NATO having to come and do something about it.
Then they screwed up again in Kosovo....
They screwed up after Chrimea got invaded...
All they ever do is screw up, and that useless wet fart of an excuse fot an EU leader Von Der Gargoyle, when she was German Armed Forces Minister, she sent the german army off to war with wooden cut out guns or broom sticks, sprayed black, I can't rember which one is fact, as they are both insane...
The EU is not an option, just look how the Germans are dithering over everything... And falling democratically and economically, despite being in the EU... We are told that the being in the EU will solve everything... Really? Germany?
What emboldened Russia to invade Chrimea was down to Merkel and Sarkozy, being a pair of weak wet farts vetoing Ukraine joining NATO. Giving free reign for Russia to invade a small part, to test the waters, becaue NATO came across as weak and divided. And when the EU decided that best way to stop Russia being naughty, was to sell it's soul for cheap oil and fund Putins war machine.
It has nothing to with NATO, but everything to do with weak leadership, and an insane of approach of being nice with Russia, by the EU.
