I'd still expect Munn/Lange to be having these types of convo's or at least be in the travelling party but yeah in general it's not uncommon for CEO's to seal big deals. They just have that x factor in general and ability to make decisions.

Ange has said how the signing of players works (posted the vid on here). He will identify positions he wants to strengthen. The scouting department will come up with a load of options. He will go through them and say which he thinks are suitable. Then the club tries to sign them.
