I think Germany settled into a general state of decline probably about 5-10 years back as I mentioned in a previous post and they've not been able to arrest it.

I think the word (or inference?) you're missing in my 'confusion' was 'conspiracy'.
I was always confused regarding why there was a conspiracy theory behind the production of the vaccine.
I was stating my belief that such things are in constant development, and as such the 'publicly short' turnaround time was a poor measure of the entirety of the process, given that research is continual and the root of this particular series of vaccine researches could well have been a decade (as I indeed found out was the case).

Thus a vote which has effectively ended 'democracy'? Is it 'undemocratic'? THAT depends on your definition of true democracy!!!!

It all depends on what he defines as term limits?

Is it term limits as in two elections? Maybe he want's to get voted in multiple times with elections ever 4 years, doesn't mean democracy is dead. Or is it for an unlimited term time indicating there is never to be an election again? In which case democracy would be dead.

America is in a State of civil war, whilst it may not be in the normal sense of battles and bullets, it is currently at war with its self... If the definition is the later one...

Then you will see a classic civil war...

Or states break away to form independent countries.

Have you any idea how he had set up potential interference at polling stations around the country? How he had plans and people in place to dispute if it was against him? Beyond the geopolitical ramifications, and there are many, this is the real gut punch. The small window in which we can affect things at all is closing fast (or some might argue it is already shut but that is a different conversation) and the anti-climate measures outlined in project 2025 alone will set us back years. That ignores the ripple effects this will have on policies in other countries. We are fudged.

I'm sure it is, and I've heard multiple reports of people saying this exact thing is the reason they voted for him. But they are about to find out soon that eggs will be the least of their worries (and eggs will be more expensive too!). The US economy was doing pretty well by most measures - inflation low, job numbers good, stock market riding high, GDP growth was good - but it is about to get utterly fudged up again as this is what Republicans do. Take a good economy and destroy it by giving rich pricks all the money, and then later the dems come in a clean up the mess. I'm not sure the 2nd part will happen this time though. The dems won't get in again as free elections are now a thing of the past over there.
It is an often repeated point on here that those controlling the message have the real power and those controlling the message are those same rich pricks.
