LONDON, Dec 10 (Reuters) - The British billionaire Nick Candy, a former donor to the opposition Conservative Party, is joining Nigel Farage's Reform UK as treasurer to help the right-wing populist party improve its fundraising before the next national election.

Candy, who made his money developing luxury properties, said on Tuesday he was resigning from the Conservative Party to take up the new role next year. He said he intended "to raise enough funds" for Reform to win the next election due in 2029.

The religion of peace turns up in parliament again. They only want what is their right in Muslim countries. What's the problem? Sheesh.

An independent MP today spoke out against a proposed ban on first cousins being able to marry in Britain.

Iqbal Mohamed, MP for Dewsbury and Batley, told the House of Commons that many people view family intermarriage as 'very positive'.

He said it was seen as something that could help 'build family bonds' and put families on a more secure financial foothold'.

I wonder how many time a day he has to tell Lammy to stop eating the crayons or Rayner to stop wiping her nose on her sleeve.

How would the Royal Family survive if they couldnt marry their first cousins anymore? Think what disaster a genepool expansion might cause them after their 1000 years of pure inbreeding

Absolutely fcuking disgusting as is the forced marriage thing. Tells you all you need to know and their religion. As ever the moderate ones say nothing and the Liberal non Muslims let it go as it's their customs.

Truly terrifying where this all ends up in a few years time.

Its nothing to do with religion, its traditional UK law going back centuries. You can marry cousins, but not 2 generations in a row. Then the finger count gets really out of hand. But most people think even every other generation is creepy, hence the move to ban it.
