*** OMT - Tottenham vs Wolves ***

I know its all a dream but we need a Modric - esq CM to sit with someone like Bissouma, a ball retainer and mover and creater, this midfield just is not productive in my opinion.

Its ok when we play break up and break on teams but as a lots of ball at home with them sitting back....na

Savic as Lazio maybe a pipedream and I am just throwing a name, but that kind of unit would have been for me a key kinda player this summer.
 
This happens against every opposition we play with a quality 3 in the middle. We just get outnumbered and out played. It's not as if our two are superior technically in the first place, then add the opposition having more numbers and it's just doomed. We very much rely on our superior quality front and deadly finishing.

I'm often a bit pessimistic, but my word some of you lot are on a different level! If we're not 3-0 up inside 20 minutes, it's like the world is ending!
We're just fine! Not brilliant, not bad. We're always better in the 2nd half, and we're fitter than them. They'll tire and we'll dominate them.

Agreed . We have been needing that type of player for ages . Bissouma came out of the blue but as much as it’s a good signing it was not exactly what we needed for our midfield.

Haha, my thoughts exactly. Jesus christ, keep your cool, people. :p We've not even started bringing the new players into the mix properly, and you're just not going to completely dominate every game - you can't expect that in the PL. Needs to be said every goddamned season.

Completely. We could go 4-2-3-1 without making a sub - move Perisic forward, Kane as a no 10 and Son as CF

Would mean Kane could always pick up Neves and balance out the centre

This formation isnt working today

I think its the key roll in any side and we have not addressed it in years, that Carrick player who defends by retaining the ball.

It’s not fine it’s far from it. We are getting the run around by a 3 in midfield again. It seems to be a running theme. Pack the midfield and we are in trouble.
