***** OMT TOTTENHAM VS CHELSKI *****

I’m still struggling to understand how a club the size of THFC could only attract (aspire to?) Mann as the head of football operations?

Ever heard of :

Richard Garlick
Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo
Neil Bath
Andy Hughes

?

It's not generally a role that gets filled with known people afaia

Edit : I see the 2nd fella is actually Monchi who tbf is well known :tearsofjoy:

Just seen they changed 7 pakyers form mid week (assuming BBC is right)
That nuts to see they have that many players fit

Ange said after the game that we played well. Astonished that he thinks that!
Carragher was stunned at that. Said he didn't work for any manager who'd have come out after conceding four goals and say they played well. It's hard to disagree with Carragher or any of the Sky guys today to be fair. They all nailed our issues and that's rare. Reason they can do it is because it's so bloody obvious. What Ange is doing is kamikaze.

Problem he has now is the narrative has been set for the week by Sky. I expect him to have a rough week and be very prickly in the press conferences. Pressure will ramp up on him.

He is not especially versed in football more than the business of football though is he?
Yes he is definitely business side of football unless I'm completely wrong which I could be isn't he employed in the business side of football. If he isn't I will happily put my hands up & say I was wrong

Whats wrong with us now? we started off dominating the ball and having 60+% possession against almost everyone and now we are looking at 30-40% against almost everyone. We have literally lost the plot.

He is technically the bridge between Levy and Lange, so a foot in both camps, but the one in the business camp fits much better.

Perhaps part of that not wanting to throw the players under the bus at a difficult time when we're struggling with fitness, availability, options and performances/results.

But I also think that performance was better than I expected, definitely better than I feared. It wasn't great, but it was decent.

Particularly after losing Romero again early on we were always going to have spells of real struggles in that game.

Lange with Munn in above him. Levy has stepped aside for all intents & purposes but as long as he is associated with the club he's a homing beacon for the support when we're in a bad spot.

He has not stepped aside from what I can see. He has implemented layers designed to offer protection on all fronts to all sides. Here's hoping he stands firmly behind the structure he has implemented.
