***** OMT TOTTENHAM VS CHELSKI *****

He was really just reiterating a lot of things that we talk about on here. Levy being great for delivering the stadium, training ground etc, but he thinks it’s time for him to step aside. One cup and a new manager every 18 months simply won’t work. Also we’re referred to as being in the top five clubs. but every fudgerr knows we’re never going to win anything. He needs to buy some more players like Solanke and not just a lot of kids.
I have lost all faith in us ever achieving anything. OK TBF I've had my three score years in ten. This club has lost its way! and I can't see any success for many a year. Football has changed out of all recognition for me.
When I used to play I would never have dreamed of being subbed for instance. It was my job to play those 90 minutes
with the rest of the TEAM.
Anyway ..sad gripe.....I can only say it as I see it.
I think Daneil Levy needs to sit down with the owners of this club and ask some big questions.

Kulu should've seen red too, idiotic thing to do. Half of our team are brainless.
Ha ha while I am in full on moan mode thats another of my pet hates about this current squad we seem to have the most unintelligent bunch ever at the moment. Some of our players decicions or lack of them during a game are cringe making. Mind you have you heard Cole Palmer interviewed? Bloody hell he sounds as dopey as hell but at least he plays good football

I hear you brother and I'm not that far behind you in age. I remember when I started supporting Spurs (in around 69/70) we won Cups regularly and had a bit of glory. We missed the boat at the start of the PL and have never really recovered. All of the other "Big 6" clubs seem to be a better draw and option for players. Now it's £90 a ticket and no hope. Nice Stadium though.

The caicedo one?

Yah I thought it wasn't even going to be a question on that. What is or isn't excessive force is subjective but usually when someone plants their foot like that on someone's shin they're gone.

Most disappointing thing was a bunch of grown men relentlessly throwing crap at people just trying to do their job. Cameras on every member of the crowd and a lifetime ban if you do it, the club wouldn't have the balls as they'd lose income.

Not overly fussed about the result, it's now just accepting we aren't that good. On a different day if X had done Y and whatever, who cares. Now Southampton with neither Biss nor Bentancur, oh no, how devastating.
Is biss suspended?

Well unless you can explain how Ange affects their decision making I don't think you can blame him directly. All you've said is "culture". The truth is, the likes of Conte wouldn't (and didn't) play Bissouma. He probably wouldn't play Sarr much either.
He's the one who creates the ethos that lies behind the mistakes and the stupidity. The way he sets up the team to go gung-ho all the time means we're almost always wide open at the back and baked into that is a willingness to accept rash challenges and last-ditch defending. He sends out the message that he's comfortable with that as long as we keep piling everyone forward, so why should we be surprised when players take the message on board and behave accordingly on the pitch?

Brainless is the word. The second penalty - was indefensible in particular....I'm pressing their player, I've done my job, he's running away from goal, going nowhere fast, in fact, in just a second he'll run outside the penalty box......oh wait, on second thoughts, maybe i should just sythe him down before he does, right in front of the referee....yes, yes, that's the right thing to do....

And if you think this is jus6 hyperbole from.an upset spurs fan after a defeat, the commentators were actually going on all game about how naive and unprofessional Spurs seemed the co-commentator said of the first penalty "Spurs players just continuously do really stupid things consistently" and he also called the second penalty before it happened. As in, you could see that he was going to take him out like a f**king pub player a million miles away. Absolute disgrace.

Yup. With various shenanigans at the club over the summer, if someone told you there'd be a game where Yves would be suspended for bookings, Bentancur suspended for racism, would that be surprising to anyone? Gotta fix the engine room, by getting rid of the idiots, discipline/ incidents have been a huge problem.
The anger is at the situation, not you
What a fudging mess

Read that back to yourself. What does it even mean! 😅😂

No there isn’t. No one in their right mind accepts dumb challenges for both pens. That is idiocy to suggest otherwise.

Nonsense. We are an attacking side. But not reckless. Look at our goals conceded and scored and we’re a decent outfit. 4th on goal difference. That doesn’t fit your narrative?

Glad I don't live in England anymore, would hate to look for and pay the prices now being charged for home match tickets going by the last few seasons. Admire the fans that do go, home and away. Can't imagine what it must feel like to be a season ticket holder to have to pay all that money and go home disaappointed 2 times a week.

Is that not due to the 2 pens?
Open play we had a better xG

It doesn’t fit the whinging narrative. But that is how I saw it. They didn’t have amazing chances. We seemed to have slightly better openings that we could not convert, and that was after scoring twice! Not putting the ball in the net a third time at 2-0 or 2-1 was deeply frustrating. We had plenty of good chances to.

…and then two senseless pens. Both as bad as each other.

I suggest you get yourself a dictionary (a big book with all words in). Look, you want to stick up for him, I get that. I'm done, and I suspect he soon will be too.

This game encapsulates the biggest issue with Ange and pinpoints where the blame stops with him. Park the "is is ENIC or is it the manager" for a minute. Do Chelsea have a better squad, better investment etc? Maybe. But we went 2-0 up and there was pretty much zero game management from there. I watch the Forest United game by contrast and Forest really changed the way they played through the game and really frustrated Utd.
Maybe? Lol!

Lange with Munn in above him. Levy has stepped aside for all intents & purposes but as long as he is associated with the club he's a homing beacon for the support when we're in a bad spot.
I’m still struggling to understand how a club the size of THFC could only attract (aspire to?) Mann as the head of football operations?

Ange said after the game that we played well. Astonished that he thinks that!

He said after the game that we played well, so he clearly sanctions the kind of lazy, reckless flicks and back heels in our own box and stupid tackling, and not being defensively sound or solid. 4th on goal difference when you’re 11th in the table really doesn’t mean anything. It’s not all Ange’s fault, but he really isn’t helping himself with the setup of the team at the moment.
