***** OMT TOTTENHAM VS CHELSKI *****

As I fully expected to lose to Chelski I am now thinking in hindsight that Ange should have not started Romero and VDV but given them a few more days and then played them against Rangers on Thursday and hopefully get nearer to qualifying for the knockout stages of a competition we may have a chance of winning. Or at least had them on the bench and maybe given them 15-20 mins at the end of the game. To me it`s another example of Anges poor squad management. For me it`s one of his main faults he is not reactive to certain things that happen during the game quick enough.
What was the European game when we went 2-0 down at home in the first 15 minutes and Mourihno made substitutions straight away and we went on to win the game? Or is my memory playing tricks? Ange always seems so slow to react to things that happen during the game or even vaguely try to change tactics even when its plain to even a dope like me me need to make a couple of subs. Thats why the fans at Bournemouth were giving him so much stick

Lange with Munn in above him. Levy has stepped aside for all intents & purposes but as long as he is associated with the club he's a homing beacon for the support when we're in a bad spot.
I knew I was missing someone, just couldn't remember who

Today yes, but if the goals from pens count on the score so does the xG
It does count, but that's on the 2 players a lot more than Ange.

I have my issues with Ange, but get players back fit and play like we did first half and we will improve.

But he needs to make changes in the team and himself.

I think one of the biggest problems we have is just that the ball doesn’t stick up top which means it’s constantly coming back.

You look at Sancho and Neto and Johnson / Werner and Son and it’s night and day different. A developed Moore could make the difference here as the ball sticks to him, but Johnson will never be that player.

I feel like we’re so close, yet so far away too. It’s fudging annoying. But in reality, we do need another 4 or 5 oven baked, fit (!) first teamers - FB, CB, DM, RWF and LWF - to really make this way of playing sing. These won’t come cheap.
And thats why we won't get them, so more teeny boppers incoming

Seem VDV was cramp
It looked like that with the stretches be was going
Romero is out now for a long time I reckon

We do have more than out. And they are good players. Odobert. Richarlison. Bentancur. Romero. Moore.

Don't know how it looks now, but we were the leading scorers in the PL not long ago. And a goal difference table would have us 4th. So I think you are correct in your assessment, that we are close. With all these first 11 players out, we're at the races. How we didn't convert today idk. Was so frustrating. Whenever we play the chavs we just lose our zhit. Tuck a 3rd away and I think we'd win the game. To then hand them two fuking goals was unbelievable.

Spurs please sign a midfielder in Jan.
He has to go, simply because he spends more time in physio than he does on the pitch. And as for signing a first teamer who isn't 17, lets hope so!

Yeah. Easy pickings. The thing is there is no way someone of Munn’s calibre sticks around if he feels he is being over-ruled from above. So unless we see him leaving I’m happy to assume all footballing decisions are in his court.

And when they scored so quickly after us going 2-0 up. I turned round and said we will now lose this 5-2 or 5-3. I shouldn't have had that feeling even entering my head. Not at 2-1, not at home.
5-2 was my prediction
Yet we could have drew
And Forster or their keeper didn’t make many saves
Odd

A midfielder is the biggest gap in our squad. If we can sign a decent one in Jan, it would

Pretty sure Ange doesn't want players to lose the ball aimlessly like Biss did. Then race back to give up our lead senselessly. Sarr too. There is no making allowances for both tackles. Its the manager. Its tenuous at best, and deluded at worst, to put those fouls in the box, with the ball moving away from goal, at the feet of Postecoglou. Obviously you don't like him. Have no patience and want him sacked. But at least find something believable to blame him for.
We have an option for that guy in Spain included in the deal with Gil. He's a DM. Not sure how good he is though.

That's two games now that what should have been straight red cards the refs have ignored and those decisions have cost us a goal.

The caicedo one?

Yah I thought it wasn't even going to be a question on that. What is or isn't excessive force is subjective but usually when someone plants their foot like that on someone's shin they're gone.

Most disappointing thing was a bunch of grown men relentlessly throwing crap at people just trying to do their job. Cameras on every member of the crowd and a lifetime ban if you do it, the club wouldn't have the balls as they'd lose income.

Not overly fussed about the result, it's now just accepting we aren't that good. On a different day if X had done Y and whatever, who cares. Now Southampton with neither Biss nor Bentancur, oh no, how devastating.
