Initial thoughts are our squad depth isn't good enough. No Solanke, no Richarlison, no Van De Ven. Made more sense to start with Son as a striker, Kulu on the right, and Werner on the left.
10 minutes in and Saudi Sportswashing Machine could be two goals up. May as well play an extra defender or defensive midfielder considering we basically have no striker. Would put Bentancur in too.

If Son plays it forward straight away and Porro stays where he should those chances don't happen. It's not been that bad. We're clearly doing a bit of experimenting with positions.
