It's gutting that Soldado doesn't get to play with Eriksen and Lamela, the two players on his wavelength.
 
The most frustrated thing for Soldado is every time when he knows he's starting then he find that Townsend's name just comes right after.
 
This is why I'm against having a big squad.
What the point when it contains players that should never play for us again like Townsend and Paulinho?
I'd rather see any kid getting a game than these two.

4 1/2 hours without a goal. SO glad the powers-that-be decided we didnt need a striker in August
 
Bale masked just how toothless we were and that was a few seasons ago. Haven't really addressed those concerns.

Defoe had his faults but he had intent. He looked like he felt he would score whenever we went forward. Van Der Vaart went forward expecting to score. Bale, of course. Hell even Pav always carried a goal threat. We are just so toothless now.

Paulinho and Soldado play in such key positions and are massive problems for us

It's not perfect but I honestly feel we have the measure of them.

Yeah yeah, Andros is ****e blah blah but at least he's trying to score.

I'd have Soldado with Lamela and Eriksen but I guess Ade would be incredibly hard to motivate for the League Cup.

Impressed by Kyle and Stambouli - I honestly think Dembele and Stambouli would make a perfect combo - hope to see that at some time.

To score you actually have to hit the goal first. He's preventing us from scoring by wasting most of our attacking opportunities.

Fazio looks slightly better than our. others CBs, but that's not saying much. Who his partner should be is anyone's guess. Vertonghen is no better than the rest.

Poch is getting the mixture of our front 4 wrong. Gey Townsend the **** off and put on Lamela or Eriksen on. Either of them would benefit from having Soldado and Paulinho making runs into the box.

Paulinho has been good. Presses well from the front and gets himself into good positions, only to be let down by poor passing and movement from the rest.

Naughton is a better RB than Dier.
