Two players we could really do with in this match are Sandro's steel and Holtby's energy and creativity.

I still disagree with getting rid of both.

agree and Holtby was one of the few that actually had it in his locker to play a cutting edge through ball

Did you actually think it was going in serously? I knew it was going wide or the keeper would be following it before he hit it. Even blind people knew he was gonna shoot.

It's not perfect but I honestly feel we have the measure of them.

Yeah yeah, Andros is ****e blah blah but at least he's trying to score.

I'd have Soldado with Lamela and Eriksen but I guess Ade would be incredibly hard to motivate for the League Cup.

Impressed by Kyle and Stambouli - I honestly think Dembele and Stambouli would make a perfect combo - hope to see that at some time.

you do get the distinct impression that we are starting from scratch again. there just isnt anything there.

we keep hoping soldado will do it but it doesnt look like happening. should that be the case the 45 million on paulinho and soldado looks possibly the worst investments ever made in football.

i think paulinho is possibly the worst player ive seen brought to the club for money in since ive supported spurs. Ok, we've bought kerslake and scott etc in that time, but this joker cost serious money. he is absolutely dreadful.

he'll move to santos for about 6 million in the Summer.
 
****ing hell. soldado 3 pages ahead of everyone else.all they seem to want to do is hit the long ball.

We are scared, afraid to take a chance with a pass, well apart from Androsterone who will have a crack from anywhere.

Imagine a night with a lady, or gent Chich, if you never take a chance with the her bum hole, your never going to get anal and end up with boring missionary every night. That, to me, is Spurs summed up. Able to do it but won't take a chance on it.

Awful first half. Bentaleb is having a nightmare out there, Paulinho too and Soldado has offered nothing yet albeit it through no service. Lennon on the left too? Tut tut Poch sort it out 2nd half.
 
Unless Nottingham make a mistake we can play all night with this team without getting a goal. Get Kane on to give Soldado some support, and either Lamela or Eriksen too. I'd go for Eriksen. Stick him on the left where he has played his best football for us, and move Lennon to the right. Paulinho and Townsend off.
