***OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Emirates Marketing Project ***

Despite Smith wittering on about him as if the lad was having a nightmare for most of the match, I thought he had a reasonably solid game.

First-half schooled, second-half really got to grips. Impressive second 51 minutes IMO...I think maybe the big winner tonight is Radu. Taking off Romero and playing Ben as the left-footed CB allowed Radu to be 'the man' in his main position, and he did really well. It is also a reminder to Romero that sometimes a rest is going to be necessary!!!!

Great to win, but I fear it will cost us more than we gain. VDV out for probably 4-6 weeks, maybe more. Werner scoring and playing really well, out injured. Johnson looked injured too and Solanke looked completely exhausted. Add Son, Odobert and Spence and we're in trouble!

How do you arrive at that? He was walking around the pitch at the final whistle? I'm guessing two games and international break max.

He struggles one vs one defensively. Other than that really impressive. An 18 year old struggling a bit with that is hardly a shock.

Very impressed with him. Not ready to be a regular starter, but that's fine.
He's fine on the ball, but a FB and DCM have to be able to defend too. Wouldn't mind seeing him getting a loan for the second half of the season.

He had a """loan to impress in the Champo""" last year at dirty Leeds, THIS is the season where he steps up after impressing in the Championship.

What surprised me so far is his distinct lack of pace. He's really quite pedestrian, anyone with a bit of pace sails by.

Agree re him finding his feet, he's developing well, just needs to get stronger and faster.

It's not like he's unable to defend. He struggles a bit too much one vs one defensively, but otherwise he seems fine defensively to me.

Very happy Ange keeps giving him game time in cup/EL games.

That. And I also loved Richarlison doing his best Lamela impression. Just pressing, niggling and disrupting from the front, moving our first defensive line 50 yards up the pitch.

So if we beat Manure, looks like Arse/Newc/Liv in the semis.
You make that sound like a bad thing.

Twas ever thus with the final four. Mind you, I think Crystal Palace could be a handful for Arsenal in a cup match where Arsenal will want to avoid any further injuries against a big, fast, physical side. Arsenal don't much like it up 'em and Palace are Team Up 'Em.

I'm not one to bet on sports. But this is one time I'd back the underdog. Arsenal will be at home and their fans - league leaders in XEx* - will be anticipating a strollover.
