Ffs. Had all sunday and monday off. We play like poop. On a school night when i have to be up at 05:30 they turn it on.

Fair play to us. I feared the worst at half time. Thought we actually managed the second half very well. Bar the Bissouma clearance, they didn’t create much in the way of clear cut chances. We had better chances in the second half.

Thought Bentancur was really good. Davies and Dragusin were good too. Lot of other lads worked their socks off. Gray and Moore are talents but they are green and it showed tonight.

Credit Ange. He gets pelters when we lose. We did very well tonight.

Great stuff, played some great football, but my good to we need to improve our finishing.

Despite some really sloppy play, over all we played well and deserved the win.

Bentancur and Dragusin stand outs for me tonight although the latter would have had a harder time against Haaland...

Fairly wasteful in the second half considering we had the lions share of chances but can't really moan about getting through against city, even if it was a weak side they put out.

I wasn’t to be honest. He’s a good footballer but he’s not a right back and he got roasted time and again tonight. One of the future but it’s gonna take time.

Probably Werners best performance for us but also thought that Richy was great when he came on. He gave us more energy, won a couple of tackles and did well on the ball, so Werner going off worked out well.

Good game from Bentancur and Sarr did well up until getting the yellow.

Gray isn't ready for this level. He's poor defensively but actually did well a number of times when he received the ball under pressure.

Despite Smith wittering on about him as if the lad was having a nightmare for most of the match, I thought he had a reasonably solid game.

We deserved that, midfield blunted city, defence was pretty solid, forwards did well and the whole team worked their assets off.

Bentancur and kulu were exceptional, Sarr, timo and dragu were great.

Impressed with him? They were strolling past him every time. He's not up to it defensively. Lots of development needed.
