The search for any kind of decent striker at the club goes on. I have my doubts having watched Saldado for half a season that he's ever going to adapt, I'm not even seeing any kind of improvement from him or consistency. Add to that the departure of Defoe in February and a true to form Ade, it's looking bleak for us yet again up front.
 
Have to give more energy second half. Too slow getting back to defend. Too slow attacking, though we have created a couple of decent chances.

Soldado and Ade need to close down the ball more when out of possession.

Keep it tight at the back, and get a goal. The brief is the same.

Doesn't it look like the coaches IDE to stick two in the middle and attack through the flanks? Classic 442. Maybe the strikers are just following instructions.
 
We do not deserve to finish in the top 4. That was one of the worst halfs of football i have seen Spurs play in a long time.
 
WOW we've been ****ing turd water.

Soldado, Walker, Chiriches, Adebayor and Eriksen have been especially bad for different reasons. Soldado deary me it's like he's not even trying..like he's just totally given up and thought '**** it'.
 
Typical home game performance, fans need to make some noise, think there was almost a boo there at half time lol. Don't think anyone has really turned up today, we look so unsettled. Ade and Soldado are just as bad as one another, Dembele was aweful until the last 7-8 minutes, Lennon should've volleyed that chance instead of taking a touch.

Really think we could do with seeing Capoue on in front of the back four just to close down some of their options, at this moment I'm not sure if we would be best served going for a three man midfield to try and dictate things or if this would neuter our attacking threat further. Dembele + striker off, Chadli and Capoue on.

im not sure any team in the league this year has been played off their own pitch by palace. palace under tony pulis. tony pulis who has more credentials than our manager. deary me.

at least its still 0-0. im fairly confident it wont be as bad second half, thats not possible is it?

tim defintely needs to change it up, we have enough on the bench that we should be able to influence the course of a match against crystal palace.
 
Adeybayor and Soldado are amounting to a total of one player so we look a man down, one has to come off so we can get to half a man down.
 
Could see Chadli coming on to add some more size and pace. Not sure for who though. Wouldn't take off anyone spare maybe Soldado but only because he hasn't shown up all half

they've prepared well for us in this one. winning the header in midfield when Lloris kicks long and dropping deep when we bring it out from the back
