OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Wolves ** 29 December 2024.

If Radu is out then we should start Dorrington and Gray which is not ideal obviously but at least Alfie is a centre back by trade. Plus we have the option of playing a bit more defensively and not leaving the two of them exposed. I know we won't but that option does actually exist

i worry about this one.

Perhaps the positives are that Udogie, Porro, Biss, Johnson and Bents have all missed games recently and their bodies have had a slight recharge.

As above, the big decision is Bents vs Alfie to partner Gray at the back.

Got to be Dorrington and hope the midfield do their jobs. Only way we win is by outscoring them as a clean sheet is nigh on impossible with us. With that in mind I think we'll win 3-2.

Mixed feelings about this game, I'll be going with my son and like sharing that time with him but I'm concerned the mindless mob posing as supporters will spoil the day for me. Like most I don't know how the game will pan out but I'll be 100% behind the team.

Given that they were still cheering the team on when we were 1-5 down at home to Liverpool I’m not sure what you are basing your worries on. Other than getting into a row with a few of the away fans at Bournemouth, Ange has had a pretty easy ride from the support, given the nature of our results and many of our performances over the past 12 months. I think there is an understanding from most that the club’s problems run much deeper than just him.

Strand Larsen is 6'4" and plays at the point of the spear for them. Surely we would not consider putting 2 central defenders less than 6' against this guy? I would keep the six footers in the back line.

Forster
Porro, Dorrington, Bentancur, Udogie
Gray, Bissouma
Sarr, Madds, Kulu
Solanke

Controversial maybe, but that is how I would start this game. There is another factor as well. That is, we will be playing against a 3-4-2-1 system and we need to keep ourselves organised. We can win the game with Sonny, Johnson etc but we must not go a goal down early.

Ange will probably do his normal thing though.

I hope so, my son says the atmosphere around him in North Stand has been poor for some time and I stopped going due to the idiots who sat behind me.

FWIW here’s the last time Postecoglou and Periera faced off against each other
