Though I agree, why the hell bring on Eriksen why play toby and Dier, do not care about the result but really odd team selection.
 
No Vertonghen, no Sanchez, no Aurier, no Dembele (for most of the match), no Lloris, no Eriksen (for most of the match), no Kane. Poor performance and all, but fudge me, we almost played with our reserves tonight, and looked comfortable for 45 mins. We got a bit too relaxed and conceded a few cheap ones, but we never would've done that in the PL. Crab cup just doesn't get the blood going, does it?

I actually don’t see how it can be considering the competition and the changes we made

Anyone in the press making this result into a drama would be a fool imo. They should focus on West Ham actually putting in some effort in the second half

Separate point. I wasn't talking about us; the other guy said that one upside of losing was that Bilic stays. I really don't give a cr ap about them, like I don't care about Swindon, Norwich, Burnley, Portsmouth, Bristol City and other similar sized teams

Yep -- I remember them beating us in the final.

Also, one of my best memories as a Spurs fan is when we won it, beating Chelsea in the final. I'm fine with us rotating the team and accepting we might lose due to that, but our team was more than good enough -- the attitude 2nd half is why we lost and that is what is so disappointing about it to me.

But they won’t, of course. They’ll point out - quite fairly - that we started with a strong line up and lost because of a terrible complacency in our second half attitude.
