** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v palace - **

I could understand son backing out of tackles before the WC, but what's his excuse now?
He's getting more like Eriksen every week.

How did Eddie Howe lift Saudi Sportswashing Machine's performances 100% when joining?

We don't seem to have a system to suit the players. A manager needs to get the most of out his squad

Bigger picture though is that Conte and Spurs are mis-matched. He needs a team of finished article players, and then wins titles. We wont have that for years

On Howe, Conte lifted our results to begin with.

On Conte, agreed. So why did we appoint him?

It does have something to do with tactics. If the players are hounded constantly because we're outnumbered in key areas, they inevitably there will be mistakes
I would agree but watch it back, they were not surrounded, not hounded, its simple passes they cant make to unmarked players. Its a complete lack of confidence throughout the entire team

Played well for a spell, then lost control. Can see why Conte is a little reluctant to play Skipp and Gil. Both are decent players, but at times both are slow and outmuscled. Thought Gil did the better of the two. Having Kane drop into midfield seemed to work well.

Interesting that when Perisic plays Son doesn't score. All of his 5 goals coming when Perisic not on the pitch. They need to work on their movement and coordination?

Like the Villa match all over again. Half decent start, but not creating much. As soon as the other side figured out they don't have sit back with everyone against our slow buildups and lack of movement, they immediately start causing us problems. Just waiting for the inevitable defensive brain fart to gift them a goal.

Sack the latest manager and move to Plan E. Allow 12 -18 months for new manager to add some of his own players to the core who have failed for years now; allow results to slide; then sack and repeat.
That's the choice.
We either back the manager fully or the club vision fully.
The two are not aligned.
So we find ourselves in limbo.
