*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United ***

He’s asking players to play in a style that invites those mistakes. There is no need for it at 3-0.

He’s playing to players’ weaknesses (i.e. Forster). That’s bad management. But it is entertaining and it is interesting.
And unnecessary stress. I don't think I can take this way of playing. When it works fine, but riding on lady luck every other week.......I'm gonna have to find a way!

Honestly I might agree with you if we hadn't been forced to watch 3 years of eye-gougingly bad football with the same results.

I much preferred their approaches.

It's too open, there is no control, Ange is seemingly fine with the opposition having chances. I can't get my head around it.

Aaahhh
Do you remember routinely being 1-0 up under mourinho and conceding in the last minute?
I routinely try and remove memories such as these!
However that's my point. Manager, style, decades....we have tried everything.
I like how we attack, I think the only tweak needed is not to be mental for 90mins when we are in control

Forster was playing it long. Idk what people are watching. Ange doesn't mind them playing it long now and again. But, like many many many other sides, we aspire to control games and retain possession.

He knocked it long a few times and we did OK with it, but for the first goal he turns to gray, doesn't like the look of it, turns to dragu, doesn't like that either and then passes it gray who no option but to play it back, foster then plays it to dragu, or tries to.
He had three opportunities to punt it, his head had obviously gone at that point.
