I think it is quite obvious we need more quality in the side if we are going to compete for top four (or five/six even). Liverpool have better players in a lot of positions. No amount of coaching or organisation will make up for that.
 
why anyone would bring townsend on is beyond me. eriksen could pull something out the bag at any moment. townsend, no assists no goals in what, 50 league games?

whats the plan now then? keep the score down?
 
I give up ! Two prem wins against relegation fodder and two wins against a European pub team masked the fact that "this" is where we are !
 
Pool just defending and attacking better, we are still leaving huge tracts of land open for them to attack into. GGGnnnaaahhhh
