***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v Emirates Marketing Project***

Defence done very well and despite City getting in to good positions we never let them test Lloris much - the trouble is we aren't offering our back line much protection

I felt they let us off three times with bad decision making and delaying the shot

It's amazing that the players don't figure out for themselves that going long is a better option. Instead they persist on trying to play it out from the GK even though City have nine players pressing in our half!

I'd say that the way their playing going long is a better tactic as their pressing

Wimmer is way too poor with the ball at his feet under pressure. Drop Dier back. Son on, drop Dembele back to the middle.

Enormous "phew". Bad half, we have allowed them to run us ragged and control the game. But 0-0 nonetheless.
Need to see more from Dembele and Wanyama 2nd half.

Not sure what posters expect. City are at home, just three points behind us and have world class players. Their forwards and midfield have given our players no time on the ball so have played a number of loose balls. But we have defended very well so far. I really think we will come back into this second half. However, I predicted a draw before hand and I still think that will be the case.

No need for 3 DMs.
Need to take Wimmer off, put Dier back, then bring on Sissoko or Son on the right, as Eriksen is not really doing his defensive duties. Put Eriksen next to Kane, so he can take on flicks off Kane as he has more pace.

Much how it isn't pretty, I do think from time to time there is nothing wrong with a punt into the corner to get the pressure off.

It's not ideal, but it's better than losing the ball as we have been.

Something we need to learn I think
