*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project

Today again showed we need a dominate centre forward. Personally I would be tempted to keep Richalison and buy another striker.
I would sell Richarlison if a better striker became available, depending on the goals set and level of ambition for the next season. I fear he's not the kind of striker we need to mount a serious challenge. But he's far from the first one I would gladly see updated.

agreed. he has fight and before he got injured it was working. Id still like another front line striker and two widemen though.

they have to be our priority for purchases.

If Richy can't stay healthy we might as well sell. But not because he's not a good striker, because he is. This start-and-stop season for him he scored 0.66 goals per 90 and had 0.9 goal contributions per 90. Not sure how much better we can find.

It depends on Richie fitness going forward in my opinion.

Looking at the top 20 or so PL scorers, there are only two CFs with a better minutes per goal ratio than Richi in the league - Isak and Haaland. Richi with more luck with fitness would easily of had 20 plus goals. Of course staying fit is part of being a footballer, so it's all ifs and buts. But if he can prove his fitness I don't see any reason why we'd want to get rid save for a stupid offer....

The way I see Angeball, I would like to see a Harry Kane-type striker, before he became a Harry Kane-type everything else. Someone always available in or around the box with a good aerial ability. A player who can move and create space, and not afraid to shoot from outside the box. A player able to read the play and be at the right place more often and not to mention earlier than Richarlison. He doesn't need to be an all-technical flairy tiki-taka-Messi-like anything.

we had the extra man deep which made it easier to play out from the back, I thought the diamond worked

good job we still have GLC and Ndombele on the books ;)
City didn’t actually offer anything either
They had a shot in the first half that came from a Hojberg error
That was it
Playing without a CF worked

I hear you, and I'm certainly open to the fact that I can analyze things wrong. But looking at him in games, he's not what I think of as an effective and game-changing forward. Much like Son, he had a spell were everything went right, but I think few would contest that Son's min/goal ratio doesn't necessarily reflect how well he has played over the season. But I definitely agree that we don't need to sell, right now he's the best pure-ish striker we've got.
