That's true. Still, don't think the players will feel the same pressure when it stands between Europa and Conference. I could be wrong though.Only 3 places Infront of them in the form table.
We have been here before as well.

could have had his eyes closed with our useless tacos taking the shotsHe made the big saves at the most crucial times, the business end of a game. You could debate this about every MOTM other than when a player has scored a hat trick or something, there's usually several contributors who could get it. But for a keeper to come in cold in such a game and instantly make a crucial save, backing it up with Sons massive chance to equalise, plus another one. I wouldn't say it's particularly controversial that he got it....
It was like that from birth. When he fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on his way down. The state of Emerson's face! Romero really did a number on him.
We had their number the whole game. It's the first game against them in a long time that we truly went toe to toe with them. And in a must win game for them too. Hopefully we kick on from here and we see performances like this consistently next season. With a proper striker we could have won this. We had City's number up until the first goal.
Yup. I saw that and immediately concluded that Money Won.
What, when City were a point behind and might have lost away to a top 6 team?I think they are more likely to win it now than they were two hours ago
That won it in the early 80s.....81 or 82 I think.have Villa ever played in Europe before?
Weren't Villa and Everton the only ones to rooster up Liverpool's parade through the 80's?That won it in the early 80s.....81 or 82 I think.

Well we sure as hell weren't the worse team. It was an close matchup and we edged it slightly. Can't honestly say we were the better team, but we matched them and caused them lots of problems.
Proud of them all tonight, we'll be so much better next season.
COYS.

Today again showed we need a dominate centre forward. Personally I would be tempted to keep Richalison and buy another striker.Best all-around performance in quite some time. Can't help but think that our team can't cope with pressure very well and there's still some potential to be unlocked. At the start of the season, there was little to no pressure at all, new manager and new play style. Then we became a victim of our own early success, and we folded quite predictably after the cursed manager of the month awards. Tonight for the first time I think the players are relieved of any serious pressure and can play with more confidence and freedom, I think they're fully aware that the fans won't be very angry if they try and lose. A few errors aside, we play much more like we did at the start. A few strengthenings in the summer, and next season could be very interesting.
Last I checked we beat Norwich 5-0 on the final day to clinch CL in 2022. If you want to go back to 2016, be my guest, but we really had nothing to play for in that game.Well could do with favours off Man United and Brighton, Would like no pressure on the final game.
I dont trust us to see it through on Sunday. We've been here before needing a point on the final day against a relegated team

Would only sell Richy if we got a really good offerToday again showed we need a dominate centre forward. Personally I would be tempted to keep Richalison and buy another striker.
Never been happier to witness Sons diminishing skills....could have had his eyes closed with our useless tacos taking the shots
