*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa FC ***

Who on here was at the game today? Just seen John McGinn say after the game it was the loudest he had heard at an away game. It didn`t come across on Sky as being loud even though I know they filter the sound for their own bias
Was a good atmosphere and at times was very loud but not sure it warranted that sort of comment.

Yeah I don’t know who plays at CB on Thursday, can’t afford any more injuries for the weekend. We’ve got 9 points out of 9 in the EL so far so I’d be fine if we rest a few on Thursday, not too many but key players like the CB’s.

Top 8 in the el means we don't have to play a 2 game qualifier for the knockout stages (at a stage in the season where tiredness is a big factor). I'd rather we secure that then we rest players. Not take anything for granted.

Perhaps I've misunderstood your interpretation, but he was saying it was as loud as he had heard the crowd at our stadium. Not any away game he has played but specifically at our place....

What a second half performance. Flat in the second but sparked to life by a couple of players stepping up massively. First, Son with his cross to Johnson, then Ben Davies with his challenge in the build up to the second. Solanke too, obviously, with his finishes. Massive credit to Sarr and Johnson and the work they got through. Spectacular win.

3 points vs Ipswich, come back from the international break and that's when we really start to look like an Ange Postecoglou team.
I've just watched the goals again and that Ben Davies challenge was fudging superb, deserves an assist credit.

Again, Compared to what? Take a look at any game of football. How many crosses reach their intended target? Not many. Don't think we are any worse than other teams.
Besides, other than corners, Angeball means we generally attempt fewer conventional floated crosses seeking headers and more low ones across the face of the goal, either long or short, eg Son>Brennan & Richarlison>Solanke today.

Worst refereeing performance I have ever seen today !!!

Fantastic 2nd half again from us, thoroughly enjoyed that

Must say look at the quality of the goals we have scored this season, some absolute incredibly good goals

Thanks I thought he was saying it was as loud as any away game he had heard, didn`t realise he meant just our place. Like I said it sounded a bit flat until we went 3-1 up but Sky mute the sound well normally to cut out any bad language

I've been super critical of Ange - but he got it all spot on today.

Long may it continue and prove idiots like me wrong

I think we're headed in the right direction, but it's going to take this season to get more consistent and maybe a couple of additions next summer. Top 6 and a cup is probably the most we can hope for, 4th would take an incredible run of results at some point.

I was there - one of the better atmospheres for a while - we deserved that - Good shift all round - Top league goalscorers - sort our away form out and that soft core/leadership issue - we are in business .. Good youth coming through and Ange is learning tacticaly - Bis/Son great early subs today ...
