That's a good point. Well done, back four. Kaboul in particular proved me wrong today, and I'm pleased to admit it. Ade, on the other hand ,was woeful, and we still have a massive, massive problem with failing to keep possession when under pressure. Mason was....err, okay, I guess. Still, good point. Pleased with that.
 
Shame we only drew, I wasn't convinced they would score unless we gifted them a goal. Unfortunately that's exactly what we did.

The defence was terrific today, and so was Mason. Our attacking players left a lot to be desired though. Decision making is often terrible, there's a lack of ruthlessness, and Ade had one of his days where...I'll leave it there. A moment in the first half where he was moping around offside and we had won the ball back. He didn't bother to get back onside. Maddening.

Decent point though. Would have taken it before the game but we could have won today.
 
Well that felt pretty horrible, holding on like Villa or Wigan for a draw

Better result than I expected, but dear me we need to play better than that

Don't get me started on Jogger Adebayor, his "performance" was just as poor as I expected, lazy, jogging, no quality, no heart.

Well done to Mason, Rose, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Naughton, Capoue and Dier I guess... because the rest of them didn't release the pressure much at all. Maybe for 15 seconds, once.
 
Would have bitten your hand off for that point, and we still gifted them a ****ing equaliser.

Kaboul was fantastic.
 
Amazing defending from us. Bar the one slip for the goal we were immense. Capoue and the back 5 - exceptional.

But our midfield is still not settled. We need a strong midfield core to improve.

GK, defence and CM all very good.

The three in front of them had a mixed game. Very sloppy passing at times, but got the vital goal at least. Would have helped a lot to have a striker in front of them.
 
Not a fan of rose it kaboul but both were excellent today, not that they were the only ones.

Mason did not shield. He was decent in an attacking sense but shielding? noooo he was out of position an awful lot (Capoue on the other hand was excellent).
